Dexter McCluster becomes just the second back-to-back offensive MVP in the 74 year history of the Classic. Doak Walker won the accolade in 1948-1949.

Ole Miss became the first team to win back-to-back Cotton Bowls since Notre Dame (1993-94) and fifth team overall. The other back-to-back winners of the Classic - Notre Dame (1978-79), and Texas (1969-70, 1943-44),

This was the first time since 2001 that both teams were without any field goals. It was also just the third time in 41 years that no teams connected on a field goal.

The scoreless first quarter was the first since the 1993 Classic when Notre Dame and Texas A&M faced off. There have been 12 scoreless first quarters in Cotton Bowl history.

Jevan Snead's 3 first half INT's are the most since Florida State's Casey Weldon threw three of his four INT's in the first half of the 1992 Classic vs. Texas A&M.

The Rebels' Jevan Snead 52 career Cotton Bowl pass attempts is fourth best all-time. His 31 completions is second most.

Jevan Snead's 460 net yards passing is best in Cotton Bowl history.

Dexter McCluster's 86-yard TD run was the second longest rush in Cotton Bowl history. The longest rush was Rice's Dicky Maegle when he scampered 95 yards in 1954 vs. Alabama.

Dexter McCluster's 140 first half rushing yards was the third most in the Classic's history. Dicky Maegle had 197 in 1954 and Missouri's Tony Temple had 159 in 2008.

Dexter McCluster's 48 rushing attempts is most all-time in Cotton Bowl history.

Dexter McCluster's 281 net yards rushing is tied for second most. He is knotted with Tony Temple.

The seven total points at halftime was the lowest since Oklahoma led Arkansas 7-0 at half in the 2002 Cotton Bowl.

Ole Miss's Marshay Green holds the record for the most punt return yards in a single game in Cotton Bowl history. He finished with 106 yards on four returns.

The 14 combined points after three quarters is the fewest since Oklahoma and Arkansas combined for just 10.

Dexter McCluster's 184 rushing yards is the sixth most in Cotton Bowl history.

Dexter McCluster's 34 rushing attempts are the most in one Cotton Bowl Classic, breaking the record held of 31 held by Bo Jackson (1986) and Skip Hicks (1998).

Dexter McCluster's combined 229 net yards combined yards (184 rushing and 45 receiving) are fourth most.

Dexter McCluster's 88 yards on his two TD runs are second best on the Most Yards on TD runs list.

Dexter McCluster's three career rushing TD's is second most, behind Tony Temple's four scores.

Oklahoma State's two passing first downs are tied for 10th fewest in the Cotton Bowl.

The Cowboys' Zach Robinson tied for the second most interceptions thrown in one game with four. He joins Joe Montana (1979) and Casey Weldon (1992) in second place.

Ole Miss' Marshay Green's four punt returns is tied for fifth most in history.

Marshay Green also set a record for most punt yardage in one game with 106 yards, eclipsing the previous mark of 104 set by Leo Daniels of Texas A&M in 1942.

Marshay Green's punt return average of 26.5 is also a new benchmark. The previous record was 20.8 by Leo Daniels.

Ole Miss' Joshua Sheene set a record for most Point After Tries in the Classic's history with nine.
