FIELD AND MARY SCOVELL SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION
The Field and Mary Scovell Scholarship Foundation today announced the 15 recipients of $3,000 college grants that honor the memory of “Mr. Cotton Bowl” and his wife of nearly 50 years.
The 15 Scovell Scholarships totaling $45,000 were awarded at a reception on May 3, 2010 at the Hyatt Regency Dallas. The total amount awarded matches last year’s giving record for the Foundation.

TOMMY BAIN NAMED CHAIRMAN OF COTTON BOWL ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION
North Texas business leader Thomas C. Bain, Jr. (Tommy) has been elected to a two-year term as Chairman of the Cotton Bowl Athletic Association (CBAA), the sponsoring agency of the AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic. Bain has been a member of the bowl’s Board of Directors since 1991 and has served on the CBAA’s Executive Committee as Vice-Chairman the past four years.

It was a long and difficult process, but the 2009 AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic Art Contest winners have been selected.
IT'S OFFICIAL: OKLAHOMA STATE VS. OLE MISS!
ARLINGTON, Dec. 6, 2009 – The stage for the 74th AT&T Cotton Bowl is set. Oklahoma State University will face the University of Mississippi in the first Classic at Cowboys Stadium.
Cowboys and Rebels athletic officials formally accepted an invitation extended by Cotton Bowl Athletic Association Chairman Kathy Saunders on Sunday.
