Some fans of other leagues might contest that the Southeastern Conference is the most dominant conference in college football, but there's no doubt the SEC has ruled the AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic lately.
Ole Miss' 21-7 win over Oklahoma State in the 2010 Classic is the sixth win in seven years by the SEC over the Big 12. The only Big 12 victory in that string is Missouri's 38-7 win over Arkansas in the 2008 Classic.
Since the AT&T Cotton Bowl became an annual Big 12 vs. SEC matchup starting with the 1999 game, the SEC has won seven and the Big 12 has won five. The Big 12 actually dominated the series in the early going, winning four of the first five from the SEC.
But over the last seven years, the SEC has been right at home in Texas.
