McCluster goes high to give Ole Miss the lead
Dexter McCluster, one of the smallest players on the field, came up big again. McCluster scored on a two-yard carry, launching himself into the end zone, with 4:03 left to give Ole Miss a 14-7 lead in the 2010 AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic.
The Ole Miss drive, aided by a pass interference penalty, covered 34 yards in five plays and took 2:07 off the clock.
Rebels quarterback Jevan Snead now holds the all-time Cotton Bowl passing record with more than 450 yards in two games. Ole Miss kicker Joshua Shene holds the point-after record with a perfect 8-for-8 performance in two games.
